Are You A Slave?

People often think that they are free as long as they earn a salary and have a stable job. The truth is actually scarier than you know but most of us turn a blind eye to it.

I decided to do a comparison between slavery 300 years ago and employment in today’s world. A is 300 years ago and B is today.

A. You are a slave on a farm.

B. You are a salesman for a company.

A. The farm has 2 types of slaves: Field slaves and House slaves.

B. The company has 2 types of employees: Salesman and managers.

A. The house slaves receive more than the field slaves from the farmer and are seen as the elite slaves.

B. The managers receive more than the salesmen from the company and are seen as the elite employees.

A. The farmer supplies all the slaves with accommodation.

B. The company pays all the employees a salary to pay for their accommodation.

A. The farmer supplies all the slaves with food and other household necessities.

B. The company pays all the employees a salary to pay for their food and other household necessities.

A. On all the major holidays like Christmas and Easter the slaves receive a day or two off from working

B. On all the major holidays like Christmas and Easter the employees receive a day or two off from working.

A. The farmer supplies the slaves with medical care when needed.

B. The Company supplies all the employees with medical aid for when a doctor is needed.

A. If a slave break the rules or run away the farmer will punish them with lashes verbal abuse or take away their necessities like food.

B. If the employees break the rules or stay away from work the company will punish them with written warnings hearings or even pay deductions so that the employees can’t afford to pay for their necessities like food.

A. The farmer will occasionally supply the slaves with some refreshments and a party to keep them happy and motivated.

B. The company will occasionally supply the employees with some refreshments and a party to keep them happy and motivated.

A. The slaves are controlled by the fear of not being able to survive away from the farm.

B. The employees are controlled by the fear of not being able to survive away from the company.

Now do the same comparison with your life and see if you are a slave.

I’m not saying that all employment is seen as slavery. There are certain industries where employment is a necessity like hospitals banks etc. But the modern day slavery still exists and they are in the industries where people are hired for their skills. All of us have our own unique skills and most of us are being enslaved for it!

As a consumer in need of a skill or service you have 3 choices:

1. Make use of a business or company. They employ Enslave individuals to make a profit from their skills so the consumer ends up paying more.

2. Do it yourself. This is probably the most cost effective way to go but not everyone has the time or skill required to complete the task.

3. Contract a private individual experienced in the skill you require. This is the best option! You are now RENTING THE SKILL DIRECT FROM THE PERSON THAT OWNS IT and it is far cheaper since there are no business/company profits involved.

The only problem with the last option was that noone knew where to find these skilled individuals… Until now! Technology and the internet gave us a solution to the age old problem of slavery!

A newly launched website http://www.rentaskilldirect.com claims that they have the solution to unemployment and even employment Slavery. And I think that there is a huge possibility that they are correct…

The consumer simply does a free search on the Rentaskilldirect database for any skill or service they require. They will be supplied with a list of individuals advertising their experience references and all relevant information making it easy for them to make a choice. The consumer is supplied with direct contact details and searching or joining the website is free.

The website also offers a reference system and a whole range of useful applications.

Skills development has always been a problem all over the world and they even have the solution to this. If you do not own a skill you can search for an individual who is experienced in the skill you want to master. You can then request a mentorship from that person and if they accept the mentor will teach you his/her skill.

This website is the perfect solution because the community will now be renting and training the community. This is the perfect solution to unemployment and skills development.

It might take a while but I certainly see that employment will soon be a thing of the past.

My advice is:

Throw away that Yellow pages and start renting the skill direct from the person that owns it and help free humanity from the chains of employment SLAVERY!

The New Distribution Strategies Your Product Will Need To Succeed

Amazing changes in the retail marketplace over the last 15 years has created new different obstacles to successfullylaunch a new product.Marketing romantics muse glowingly about the old days when there were supposedly multiple placement opportunities in every level of retail. True there were. But on closer inspection there are as many options now if not more.

People and organizations are not usually open to change. Change is hard requires a different thought process imagination flexibility. In the 1980s there was a seemingly endless array of local regional and national store chains including department stores drug discount food hardware and mass merchandisers. Most are now gone. They did not change.

WT Grant Montgomery Ward Venture AyrWay Gold Circle Hills SuperX Bambergers B. Altman Bonwit Teller and Wannamakers are only a tiny sampling of strong store brands that no longer exist. The new big box chains that have taken their place feature massive purchasing merchandising and logistic assets. Certainly WalMart Home Depot Macys Walgreen and Kroger have earned their collective perches as dominating chains in their categories.

The question for small businesses and entrepreneurs is how to successfully place product in these retail behemoths. And if they cant be penetrated what other options are available. The difficulties of selling a short line or a single item to WalMart are daunting but can be overcome.

To successfully sell the big boys you have to adjust change your terms and conditions to fit theirs. The key to the modern big box success is based on huge sales volumes lowest price available and logistics that enable everfaster deployment of inventory and resources. Software for shipping and receiving is as important as product features and benefits. You have to have the capacity to participate in these advanced control systems.

The internet and electronic media have created whole new sales opportunities that did not exist a generation ago. If Ebay counted all of the independent contractors they serve as employees they would be the worlds largest employer. Over 700000 entities now sell product through this vast democratic web community. Many make a fulltime living from Ebay sales. This is an internet department store with an auction format. And there are dozens of other targeted webbased sites seeking inventory to sell as well.

Home Shopping Network ANC Shop at Home and QVC are simply electronic department stores and each has a huge appetite for new products. Every year these cable television retailers search locally and through onair solicitations for fresh creative new products that can be demonstrated in this powerful sales venue. A product that sells successfully on HSN will soon be in demand on traditional retail shelves.

Years ago late night infomercials were the frequent butt of comic skits. Today major companies such as Proctor Gamble General Motors and Estee Lauder utilize this sales venue. Hundreds of products are launched in short format infomercials each year and many succeed. These spots can be produced at amazingly affordable prices and test media buys mitigate financial risk. Most big box stores feature an area displaying the “As Seen on TV” logo. It is much easier to penetrate the bureaucratic maze of a national chain with a bit of proven sales success in hand.

Much as TV infomercials have revolutionizedproduct marketing an even less expensive strategy can be undertaken utilizing print media. Main stream newspapers magazines and print supplements increasingly sell print Advertorials. An Advertorial is an article that reads and appears to be noncommercial but contains a specific product message. These have been extremely powerfulguerilla marketing tools inexpensive easy to monitor and strong revenue generators.

There are many other potential avenues to pursue in order to create sales traction for a product. Publicity campaigns have the advantage of being free specialty catalogs remittance envelopes commission sales coverage and a customized website with an online payperclick program are just a few.

The old days and stores are gone. We only have the new days and a whole raft of new opportunities to utilize. Maybe Lowes is not the place to launch your product. Successful pursuit of a guerilla option will enable a product to develop a sales base sales traction and growth. This will level the negotiating field when the big box presentation is made.

Old Network Marketing Techniques: A Recipe For Failure

For anyone who is involved in Network Marketing you’ve probably noticed that promoting your business using the traditional methods that you’re being taught presents quite a challenge in today’s fastpaced world. Also if you’re not currently involved and you are under the assumption that the Networking Industry is dead you are sadly mistaken.

With there being more direct selling opportunities and companies out there than ever before there is big money to be made. It’s true folks: the Networking Industry is very much alive and provides a huge advantage to anyone who is willing to learn and apply 21st century marketing methods. The best methods can turn their opportunity into what it’s supposed to be an Online Home Business.

However that does not mean that it is easy money. You must constantly work to build your business and invest in yourself staying on top of new marketing strategies if you hope to stay competitive. In light of the Internet and other available technology it is absolutely necessary that you do not use outofdate methods to build your business; you must become versed in what’s new and what’s working.

With changes in technology being a constant you must be ready to embrace new opportunities as they come up. Gone are the days of leaving business cards behind at laundromats and coldcalling to get an inhome party or trying to get the person to let you do a telephone business presentation.

Internet technology makes it much easier to reach the masses. If you learn how to use the right marketing methods to reach people who already have their hands raised because they are looking for solutions that could help fix their problems you’ll find that you don’t have to deal with rejection all the time if ever. Unfortunately 95 of people involved in the industry are not taking advantage of these powerful tools because they are not being properly trained on how to utilize the benefits of the Internet.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau the network marketing business is good business. They report that in 2003 sales produced by the direct selling industry totaled more than 29 billion! So how do you get a piece of that pie? Not by using outofdate network
marketing methods that’s for sure.

A good example of the way Internet technology can help in growing your network marketing business is social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. Create a profile and let people know what you do. You can use these networking sites to post bulletins about potential sales that you may have new websites that you launch or opportunities for friends to join you in your business venture. As you post on your friends sites their friends will see what you have to say; one can see how easy it is for word to spread like wildfire.

When you started your Networking business you likely went to conferences and seminars or called into a weekly team building call and listen to people speak about how to grow your business. With the new and improved network marketing field you are likely now listening and watching webinars for training purposes. Now take a minute and think about how many people all over the world are watching that very same webinar and can access it 24 / 7; you can use the same idea to build your sales and your team of business partners.

If you continue to try to gather people at an informational meeting to let them know what you and your business are about your business will come to a slow and grinding halt. Not because people don’t want to listen but because no one has time anymore to make it to a meeting. With a webinar they can watch it on their own time.

Are you still handing out brochures and sticking leaflets on car windows telling people about your business? Try educating people on how to be successful online by selling ebooks and give away a few extra for bonuses there’s nothing wrong with over delivering. Not only will people appreciate the terrific deal they just got and the effective training you provided them through the ebooks.

They also learned how they can make extra money online the correct way; they’ll be excited to tell their friends about it too. Nothing but a win win for you and your business. Now you’re building online relationships from helping people around the world and creating extra streams of income with the ebooks while you’re recruiting new business partners to your online business.

Use the Internet and take advantage of Google AdWords to gain visibility. If you work for a vitamin company and someone logs on to a search engine to look for vitamins your paid advertisement could be one of the first they see. Much of our behavior is shaped by the need for instant gratification; by your business being able to have a high ranking through the use of AdWords could increase visits to your website drastically. Make your website friendly and pleasing to the eye; you will be surprised to find how many people spend some time checking out not just you but the opportunity that your business presents.

So what if there were a way that you could earn money while you learn the right marketing methods to effectively conduct business online? What if potential partners came to you because they were already interested in what you had to offer? Wouldn’t that make doing business online less stressful and more enjoyable? Well I’ll leave you with that thought for right now. But I will say that the answer is a lot closer than you think.
